Received a photo from tante Josée today, this is what she writes:

"Denis is up this week and painted grand maman’s cabinet....

Not sure if you know but grand maman is in the hospital with complication for her abscess.  Hopefully in a few days she will be able to go home."

Our new family blog!

Hello to all my beautiful family members :)

I was thinking... we don't see eachother enough.  Well, maybe I don't see you enough!  It's hard being an adult and not having enough time to travel to Timmins or Toronto.. or anywhere for that matter.  Gone are the days when mom took Marc and I to Timmins for a WHOLE month.  Man, I wish I was 10 again. 

Anyway... I thought this would be a perfect solution.  Facebook is great, but some people would prefer a place that is private to share things.  Alas, a family blog!  I've sent each and every one of you the link to this blog and here, you can post whatever you like.  Photos, messages, stories, anything! Love notes to me are also acceptable ;)

I really hope we all use it and keep it up to date.  I am not the only one who desperately needs our family to stay connected and I'm also not the only one who does fascinating things and photographs everything (sorry in advance!)

Our backyard!

Last year we built the base of our deck and THIS YEAR, we have put the finishing touches on it... we are SO pleased and proud that we've accomplished this amazing outcome.  Isn't it gorgeous? We just bought a table at Zellers with our wedding gift certificates last night and we'll be installing it today - so excited!
